Born and raised in western Pennsylvania, but actually a sun state girl in her heart. Vickie and her husband moved to Florida to escape the snow and ice 23 years ago. She often said of her life in winter “If you saw Bambi on ice you saw me, with one crutch sliding to the left, the other slipping right and a face plant in my future!”  Born with the congenital disability Spina bifida, Vickie walked with crutches and leg braces most of her younger life. Today you will see her in her wheelchair speeding around church passing out hugs as the PW (Pastor’s wife). When she’s not facilitating the ladies Bible study, or teaching Good News Club, she is chauffeuring her two teenage children.  

 

“I have a crazy, busy, wonderful life full of issues. Issues I plan on sharing with my readers,” said Vickie. As she confesses the lessons learned at God’s feet; her blog will give you things to think about, faith-filled inspiration, all with a laugh or two along the way.
